Keto for PCOS | Day 14: Two Weeks – More Energy, Fewer Cravings (Progress!)

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks already! Time for another progress check. The changes I noticed in week 1 have only amplified in week 2.


First off, the scale: I’m down a total of 4 pounds in 14 days. That feels great, but even better are the non-scale victories. My energy levels are so much better now. I wake up easier in the mornings and rarely feel that afternoon slump that used to hit me like clockwork. In fact, yesterday I breezed through a bunch of errands after work without needing a sugary latte for “fuel” – something I wouldn’t have attempted a few weeks ago.


Cravings are also way down. Those intense urges for chocolate or bread are more like mild thoughts that pass, instead of overwhelming impulses. When I do feel a craving, it’s manageable and often some tea or a handful of nuts is enough to satisfy me. This is huge for me, as someone who used to be ruled by 3 pm sugar cravings.


My clothes are fitting a bit looser – I can comfortably zip a skirt that was squeezing me last month. And a surprise bonus: my skin is clearer and less oily, which I suspect is due to the better diet and stable blood sugar. I even got my period this week and noticed it was slightly less symptomatic (could be coincidence, but I’ll take it!).


Overall, at the two-week mark I’m feeling encouraged. The combination of weight loss and feeling physically better (more stamina, fewer cravings, better mood) is the best motivation to keep going. I know there’s still a long road ahead for my ultimate goals, but seeing these improvements in just 14 days shows that this lifestyle is working. Here’s to the next two weeks – I’m excited to see even more progress!
